The Wild Things Conference Returns Saturday, March 1, 2025 - SOLD OUT

We’re thrilled to welcome you again to learn and share your expertise with our community. We’ve put together an exciting lineup of workshops and sessions from regional and national experts, plus meet & greets, video content, exhibitors, and sponsors. With over 140 presentations and discussion panels to choose from, the in-person program engages a diverse range of topics, research, and skills, and plenty of opportunities to meet with friends, old and new.

Volunteer at Chiwaukee Prairie State Natural Area and Benedict Prairie and RA Bong State Natural Area as a Master Naturalist.

I spend most of my time volunteeringin Chiwaukee Prairie in Kenosha, WI as a Master Naturalist. I also work with The Prairie Enthusiasts at Benedict Prairie and Bong Naturalist Association at R A Bong State Natural Area. I've been a Master Gardener for many years and work with Burlington WI Historical Society planting native gardens around their Pioneer Cabin. i love the stewardship work i do helping to restore the praires.

About me

I'm a Master Naturalist and a Master Gardener.
I volunteer most of my time at Chiwaukee Prairie State Natural Area in Pleasant Prairie, WI, also at Benedict Prairie a Remnant Prairie in Bristol WI with the Prairie Enthusiasts and at Richard Bong State Natural Area in Kansas ville, WI. I love winter burning brush piles and prescribed burning.. Just spending time in the prairie killing glossy buckthorn, learning all the native plants and sedges and grasses and identifying all the invasives.
I also love working with other like minded people who love the prairie and work to restore it.
